As part of Queensland’s Zero Emission Vehicle Strategy this rebate encourages the uptake of high-quality, safe e-bicycles and e-scooters as a sustainable mode of transport, reducing emissions, easing traffic congestion, and promoting healthier lifestyles.
What You Can Save:
- $500 per eligible e-bike (including cargo e-bikes); or
- $200 per eligible e-scooter

How to Apply:
The rebate is available for e-mobility devices purchased from 23 September 2024. To claim your rebate, you’ll need to apply through the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) website. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay, funding is limited and is expected to go fast!
Eligibility & More Information:
- Only Queensland residents are eligible for the rebate.
- You can only apply for one rebate per person, and up to three rebates per household.
